Time Warner Cable, Journal Broadcast reach deal that puts NBC 26 back on cable

Time Warner Cable customers don't have to worry about missing new episodes of "The Voice" or "Parks and Recreation" next week.

WGBA-TV Channel 26, the local NBC affiliate, returned to Time Warner Cable's lineup beginning at 7 p.m. Friday.

The cable company has blocked the station since July 26 because of a dispute over transmission fees between Journal Broadcast Group, the TV station's parent company, and Time Warner Cable. Joe Poss, general manager for NBC 26, told Post-Crescent Media a deal was reached. ...
