Patchwork Patriots makes quilts for wounded soldiers

The Patchwork Patriots are a local group that make Quilts of Honor for both veteran and active military who have been wounded. We will meet on Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 at Quilt Essentials, 1928 S. Washburn, in Oshkosh from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please join us for a day of sewing or just stop by to learn more about the group. Don't worry if you don't sew - we have plenty of jobs to keep you busy.

Quilts can go to anyone who has received a Purple Heart, had a traumatic injury, done multiple tours of duty or is suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or Agent Orange. Our hope is that these quilts will help provide ...
