Swimming: Clippers win all events, overpower Marines

Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol won all 11 events for the second consecutive meet and beat Marinette, 110-60, in a high school girls swimming meet Tuesday night in Marinette.

Four Clippers won two individual events each. Arica Smith won the 200-yard freestyle and 100 backstroke, Katie Kaminski the 500 freestyle and 100 breaststroke, Abby Bubnik the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly, and Marissa Ehlers the 200 individual medley and 100 freestyle.

The Clippers also won all three relays, with Miranda Roop, Morgan Buckham, McKenzie Schopf and Bubnik in the 200 medley; Smith, Bubnik, Kaminski and Ehlers in the 200 freestyle; and Ehlers, Kaminski, Buckham and Smith in the 400 freestyle.
