Running a 4,000-meter race on a hilly cross country course on a overcast September morning could be described as a challenge.

Wausau East's Kennidi Knoblock had a different view Saturday.

"That was fun," the Lumberjacks junior said after finishing fourth overall in the girls Division 1 race during the Smiley Invitational at the American Legion Golf Course in Wausau under near-ideal conditions, with temperatures in the high 50s. ...
