Letter: Cellphone ordinances are no good if not enforced

Cellphone ordinances don't work

EDITOR: So Wausau is considering an ordinance forbidding the use of cellphones while driving like Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids have. Good luck with that!

I haven't been to Rapids in awhile, but do get to Marshfield quite often. Ordinances have to be enforced to be effective and in Marshfield you can sit at any light waiting for it to change, watching cars go by and easily see what seems like at least two-thirds of the vehicles passing with drivers on their cellphones!

Just an observation from someone who has seen how ineffective these ordinances can be!
