Elmer F. Blonien Post 485, the American Legion, Rudolph, held its regular meeting Sept. 12 with 41 members present. Ron Fregien, 8th District vice commander, and Jerry Krofta, 8th District commander, were guests at the meeting.

The color guard participated in the Remember 9/11 Patriot Day Freedom Ceremony on Sept. 11 at the Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial in Wisconsin Rapids.

The group help funeral honors for member Dennis Molepske on Sept. 13. With his passing, the group now has 122 members.

The annual raffle held Aug. 25 was a success. The next meeting will be Oct. 10.
