Lacy, Kuhn inactive; only 2 healthy halfbacks

Sep. 22, 2013

Running backs Eddie Lacy and John Kuhn were placed on the Green Bay Packers' inactive list for Sunday's game at Cincinnati. That leaves James Starks and Johnathan Franklin as the only healthy running backs.

Lacy sustained a concussion in last weekend's game against Washington and Kuhn is nursing a hamstring injury.

Look for the Packers to use tight ends Andrew Quarless and Ryan Taylor when they need a traditional fullback.

Also inactive are defensive backs Jarrett Bush, Casey Hayward and Morgan Burnett, guard Lane Taylor and defensive end Josh Boyd.

The means rookie linebacker Nate Palmer might see some action today.

The Bengals inactives are cornerbacks Brandon Ghee and Dre Kirkpatrick, halfback Rex Burkhead, offensive linemen Mike Pollak and Anthony Collins, wide receiver Ryan Whalen and defensive end Margus Hunt.
