A Wausau couple is being recognized by St. Norbert College in De Pere for bringing peace to the world with their work helping impoverished people in the West Indies.

Dr. Chuck and Peggy MacCarthy of Wausau, the founders of Wausau's Good News Project, and Dr. Jack MacCarthy, Chuck's younger brother, a priest and doctor practicing in a secluded jungle hospital in Peru, were bestowed Ambassador of Peace awards Thursday at a ceremony at St. Norbert College.
