Chloe Chapman was the leading rebounder for the Newman Catholic girls basketball team last year, and the wingspan of the 5-foot-11 senior also pays off on the tennis court.

Deb Rupar, the Cardinals' girls tennis coach, said she also shows the same tenacity on both courts.

"She has a fighting mentality. She's not going to quit," Rupar said of her No. 2 singles player. "I think that comes from basketball and being a three-sport athlete. She knows how to work hard and she doesn't like to lose. She is going to fight for every point." ...
