Sunday's police log: Caller reports man broke fence trying to escape dogs

Wisconsin Rapids

? At 12:51 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a suspicious man hanging around and walking through all the buildings in the 800 block of Goggins Street.

? At 3:01 p.m. Saturday, a Wisconsin Rapids man reported a trailer broke off a vehicle near the intersection of 26th Street North and Washington Street and damaged property.

? At 3:25 p.m. Saturday, a Wisconsin Rapids resident reported a man wrecked the caller's fence trying to get away from the neighbor's dogs in the 600 block of 10th Avenue South.

? At 5:35 p.m. Saturday, officers arrested a man after a caller reported him hanging around and pulling on doors near the intersection of Eighth Avenue South and Goggins Street.

? At 10:18 p.m. Saturday, a Wisconsin Rapids woman reported a vehicle pulled into her driveway in the 400 block of Two Mile Avenue and someone appeared to have unhooked her dog from its chain. When the officer arrived, the owner was at a tavern and the dog was in the house.

? At 7:19 p.m. Friday, a Saratoga woman reported she found the door of her home open in the 1100 block of Church Avenue, Saratoga.

? At 9:59 a.m. Saturday, a Nekoosa woman reported another woman throwing her in-laws' items into the caller's yard when no one is around.

? At 11:58 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a traffic crash in the 3000 block of Plover Road, Biron.

? At 4:45 p.m. Saturday, an employee at Bud's Corner Mart, 2421 48th St. S., Grand Rapids, reported a gas drive-off.

? At 5:13 p.m. Saturday, a Grand Rapids woman reported her angry ex-boyfriend and new boyfriend were fighting in the 5900 block of North Park Road, Grand Rapids.

? At 10:33 p.m. Saturday, an employee at Terry's Amoco, 100 Market St., Nekoosa, reported a gas drive-off.

? At 1:18 a.m. Sunday, a Grand Rapids woman reported someone walking around outside her house in the 4300 block of Oakbrook Court, Grand Rapids.

? At 9:29 a.m. Sunday, a Saratoga man reported something "got after" his chickens in the 500 block of Tesserville Road, Saratoga, and killed several of them.

? At 10:57 a.m. Sunday, a village of Port Edwards woman reported a man broke into her house on Ver Bunker Avenue, damaged her property and stole her vehicle. A Port Edwards officer arrested a man for burglary and criminal damage to property. He arrested the woman and took her to the Police Department so she could post a bond on a warrant for her.
