Egg Harbor residents weigh in on new library, community center

The majority of attendees at a meeting Monday in Egg Harbor regarding the design of a new library and community center agreed the structure's emphasis needs to be the library.

James Vander Heiden, principal, and David Lang, lead project designer, from Hammel, Green and Abrahamson (HGA) - the architectural firm hire last month by the Egg Harbor Village Board - told the three dozen people attending the meeting the new building would likely provide about 5,000 square feet of space for library, visitors' center and community center meetings.

The building is proposed for construction next year ...
