Probation, restitution ordered for vandalism

The third man charged in a vandalism spree at a Sevastopol salvage yard was convicted Monday.

During an appearance in Door County Circuit Court, Daniel M. Tipler, 27, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to a building, party to a crime. As part of a plea agreement, the charges were amended from felony counts of burglary and criminal damage of property over $2,500. A third count of theft was dismissed but read into the record.
