Police: Green Bay homicide suspect sought guns, money to buy cocaine

A Green Bay man found dead earlier this year in his Ashland Avenue apartment was killed by an acquaintance who burglarized the unit to feed a crack cocaine addiction, law enforcement officials said Tuesday morning.

Jeffrey Wickman, 49, of Green Bay, will be charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the killing in connection with the May 8 death of Daniel Kuehl. The homicide happened at Kuehl's apartment at 239 N. Ashland Ave. on the city's near west side.
