Network Health president Sheila Jenkins elected president of Wisconsin Association of Health Plans

Sheila Jenkins, president of Menasha-based health insurance provider Network Health, has been elected president of the Wisconsin Association of Health Plans. She succeeds Pete Farrow, CEO, Group Health Cooperative of Eau Claire.

The organization is the voice of 10 community-based health plans that apply local experience and values in dealing with state public policy issues. About 1 million people are enrolled in community-based health plans in 68 Wisconsin counties.

The organizationís board of directors also elected leaders, who will serve from Oct. 1 to Sept. 20, 2014, during its 2013 annual meeting in Madison: vice president: Steve Youso, chief administrative officer, Security Health Plan, Marshfield; secretary: Terry Bolz, president and CEO, Unity Health Plans Insurance Corp., Sauk City; and treasurer: Lon Sprecher, president and CEO, Dean Health Plan, Madison.
