Internships are helping Fond du Lac area students get a foot in the door.

Angela Blamey, academic adviser/internship coordinator for Marian University's School of Business and Public Safety, said internships provide a "win-win" situation for students and employers.

"(Students) have gained experience and better career planning and many of them are hired on," Blamey said. "Many continue to work at their internship sites part-time and are able to transition into full-time employees."Marian requirement ...
