Prep roundup: Pahl's goal lifts Marshfield boys soccer to win

Chris Pahl deflected a shot off his head in the 42nd minute to give Marshfield a 1-0 win over Wausau East in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys soccer game Tuesday.

Paul's goal came off a scrum in front of the Lumberjacks net set up by a crossing pass from Zach Leggon. It gave the conference-leading Tigers a season sweep of East.

"It was just being in the right place at the right time," Marshfield coach Ron Todryk said of the lone goal. ...
