Fall 2013 Level I Master Gardener Program available

Clark County University of Wisconsin-Extension is offering a fall 2013 Level I Master Gardener Program, which will be presented at the Greenwood High School by Clark County UW-Extension Crops and Soils Agent Richard Halopka with assistance from Master Gardener volunteers. This program is the introduction to basic horticulture and volunteer training.

The program will take place on Tuesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting Oct. 8 and continue for 12 weeks through Jan. 8. Participant cost is $100 for the class materials and includes the volunteer background check, which is required of each master gardener

Call the Clark County UW-Extension Office at 715-743-5121 if interested in participating in this program. The deadline to register and return background check applications is Monday. For more information, call Halopka at 715-743-5121.

There must be a minimum of six participants before this program will be held.
