Oshkosh Corp., union reach tentative deal on labor contract

Extension seen as key in Oshkosh's bid for Humvee replacement contract

Oshkosh Corp. and the United Auto Workers Local 578 bargaining committee have reached a tentative agreement on a five year contract extension.

The local union's full membership will meet Sunday afternoon to vote on the terms of the proposed agreement, which would take effect after the current contract expires on Sept. 30, 2016. The new pact would run through Sept. 30, 2021. The extension would not affect the company's current contract with the Local 578.
