The reconstruction of Post Road is providing the opportunity for a rebirth of the Springville Wharf Eatery & Pub, the pub's owner says.

The $36 million state Department of Transportation project, scheduled to begin in spring 2016, will consume the parking lot at the front of the business, 1800 Post Road, and Emmy Danielski said he plans on moving. Danielski's goal is to build a new restaurant, he said, and he said he would like to break ground mid-summer next year and be open in fall 2014.

"I certainly want to stay in the Plover area," Danielski said, but details are yet to be worked out. ...
