Element Mobile reaches agreement to 'join forces' with AT&T

Element Mobile has reached an agreement to "join forces" with AT&T, resulting in the elimination of the Element Mobile brand, a spokeswoman for the Wisconsin Rapids-based cellular service provider said today.

The agreement is pending approval from the Federal Communications Commission, said Shana Seubert, director of marketing for Element Mobile. She did not want to characterize the deal as an acquisition, but rather a "joining forces" that "will result in one brand - (that brand) being AT&T - being represented in the market."
