Since the July 2012 release of "Loma Vista," Family of the Year has been on the move.

So it goes for the Los Angeles-based folk-pop group that's been anointed rising stars by a swath of media outlets and has been striking items off their professional bucket list all summer.

"We have a lot of energy and motion right now so I guess we're just going to stick with it. It's easier to keep going than it is to stop," said drummer Sebastian Keefe by phone during a rare down week in L.A. ...
