Emmaus ECC welcomes priest to pastoral staff

Reverend Donald J. Wright has joined the pastoral staff of Emmaus Ecumenical Catholic Community. Fr. Don served in the US Army, earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Marquette University, studied at Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit and was ordained a Permanent Deacon in the Roman Catholic Church in 2000. Don has five sons and 15 grandchildren.

After the death of his wife, Marilyn, Don completed two years of graduate school at Sacred Heart School of Theology in Hales Corners, Wisconsin. He was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 2004. He was received as a priest into the Ecumenical catholic Communion in 2013. Fr. Don resides in West Bend. He is looking forward to serving the Emmaus Ecumenical Catholic Community. Emmaus currently worships at First Congregational Church, 137 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh, on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m.
