Little Chute 20, Winneconne 14

At Winneconne, Scott Hietpas caught a pass eight yards downfield from Mustangs quarterback Sam Merryfield and turned it into a 39-yard reception for the game-winning touchdown.

After the teams exchanged early interceptions, Winneconne's Ben Davis broke free on a punt return for a touchdown that gave the Wolves the early lead.

Little Chute took a 14-7 lead at intermission.

The Wolves then caught a couple of breaks. The first came when the Mustangs had a touchdown pass called back because of penalty and then Mitchell Markert intercepted a pass in the end zone to thwart a Little Chute drive.

Winneconne marched down the field for a game-tying touchdown, reaching the end zone on a Davis run.

"We came into the second half hitting hard," Davis said. "But Little Chute answered back with the game-winning score."
