Fox Cities districts meet accountability benchmarks

Every school district in the Fox Cities met or exceeded state report card expectations in 2012-13, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction reported last week.

Four districts - Hortonville, Kimberly, Neenah and Wrightstown - went beyond expectations, while others met statewide benchmarks for student achievement, growth, closing gaps and post-secondary readiness, according to the report.

The results are on par with those across the state, as a majority of Wisconsin's public school districts meet, exceed or significantly exceed expectations, the DPI said. ...
