Everest back tops 200 rush yards in first division win

It wasn't pretty, but the D.C Everest Evergreens won their first division game of the season 34-27 over Appleton West at Stiehm Stadium.

On the first play of the game, Appleton West's Zach Herbst hit Matt Reader for a 46-yard gain to get to the Evergreen 34. Penalties and two sacks killed the drive, and the Terrors were forced to punt.

On their second drive, the Terrors went three and out. Their punt was partially blocked, setting up the Evergreens at the Terrors 17. Everest's Wyatt Brown scored two plays later when he went into the end zone from one yard out. ...
