Bar gets new life in Weston

A new sports bar has opened for business just in time for football season.

Trailside Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in early August at 8101 Schofield Ave., Weston. The building formerly housed another tavern, but had been vacant for quite some time.

"I'd visit the Weston area quite a bit, and I saw this building wasn't being used for about three years. I was surprised because the location is really good," owner Michael Erdmann said. "I always enjoyed the people here and how friendly they are and wanted to give the area a really great sports bar." ...
