The work of a native Venezuelan who has called Door County "home" for most of the past three decades is the focus of a dedication ceremony at 1 p.m. today in Baileys Harbor.

Artist Ram Antonio Rojas of Sturgeon Bay designed and painted the huge mural adjacent to the Baileys Harbor Marina.

Rojas credits Nancy Rafals and Gary Nelson, and a host of others, for making possible the 100- by 25-foot mural that graces the side of the Nelson's Shopping Center building on Wisconsin 57. ...
