After one year, brewery expansion helping breathe life into downtown Rosholt (with video)

A little more than a year after opening their doors for business, the owners of Kozy Yak brewery have more than enough reason to celebrate.

Not only is the place packed with customers most nights it is open, but the owners are working on an expansion across the street they hope will be finished by May, rebuilding an abandoned grocery store into a microbrewery that also is the only wine-producer in Portage County.

The Kozy Yak will celebrate its first year in business Oct. 5 with a festival featuring food, games, door prizes and plenty of beer and wine to sample. ...
