The Campbellsport Public Library will be showing the following two movies this week:

? Sept. 30: "Stories We Tell" will be shown on Monday, Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sarah Polley's documentary Stories We Tell finds the director/actress exploring a family secret. She had discovered a few years earlier that her biological father was not actually the person she knew as her father.

In an effort to fully understand this long-held family secret, Polley interviews every member of her family, and had the man she thought of as her dad write his version of events and record it, using him reading his story as a recurring voiceover throughout the film.

Stories We Tell screened at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. This movie is rated "PG-13," but anyone under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult. Free popcorn will be handed out. Feel free to bring your own drink.

? Oct. 2: The library will be screening "The Croods" on Wednesday, Oct, 2 at 4 p.m. Join the Croods on the journey of a lifetime in this epic comedy-adventure. When their cave is destroyed, the Croods set out to explore a spectacular landscape filled with fantastic creatures, strange surprises, and a whole new world of adventure!

This animated film is rated "PG." Anyone under the age of nine will need to attend these programs with someone older. Free popcorn will be handed out.
