Look for the Beachfront Inn in Baileys Harbor to get the Anthony Melchiorri touch on the Travel Channel's "Hotel Impossible.''

The 20-room, pet-friendly hotel in Door County will be featured on the episode at 9 p.m. Monday.

On the series, "fixer'' Melchiorri gives tough love to hotels struggling to live up to their potential. For Monday's episode, titled "In the Doghouse,'' he brings in a designer to redo the Beachfront's cluttered lobby and rotting deck overlooking Lake Michigan. Things get tricky when a storm causes a power outage during the renovations.

To celebrate its remodeling, the Beachfront is hosting an open house from 9 a.m. to noon Monday. Owners Tammy and Terry Bork are also inviting the public to a viewing party at Max's Supper Club at Maxwelton Braes.
