Ripon College receives grant to fund internships

The Center for Social Responsibility at Ripon College has received a Career Ready Internship Initiative grant of up to $135,125 through Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation. With this grant, the College is placing juniors and seniors with demonstrated financial need into 60 paid internships at not-for-profit organizations, businesses, governmental offices and at Ripon College itself.

The grant program is for the 2013-2014 academic year, and several students already have started their internships. The internships are designed to assist students in obtaining skills ...
