Farmers markets vendors and shoppers alike say fall is the best time of the season to pick up locally grown produce.

Eagle River, Tomahawk, Rhinelander and Minocqua, just to name a few, offer farmers markets that run from late-spring through October. Most of the Northwoods markets value vendors who grow produce where they live, and as a result, have seen consistent growth since the start.
