Parish leaders hold information sessions to gauge community sentiments

Officials are examining options for Catholic Central Elementary School once St. Francis Xavier Catholic School System vacates the building at the start of the 2014-15 year.

The St. Francis Xavier board of directors voted in February to consolidate its elementary campuses under one name - St. Francis Xavier Elementary. As a result, the system's four schools will drop to two. Catholic Central and St. Bernadette will not serve as St. Francis Xavier school sites beginning in 2014.
