Appleton attorney David G. Dudas bound over in sexual assault case

A Brown County judge found probable cause to move forward with the 31 sexual assault and battery charges against Appleton attorney David G. Dudas.

Dudas, 49, of Dale, appeared at a preliminary hearing last week with attorney Stephen Hurley. Brown County Judge Tammy Jo Hock was assigned to the case due to Dudas' familiarity with Outagamie County judges.

Prosecutors questioned an Outagamie County Sheriff's Department sergeant who investigated the case and submitted a list detailing the dates and extent of the alleged abuse. Hurley questioned the credibility of the evidence, according to ...
