The vehicle driven by a woman accused of killing a man while driving drunk was driving so fast it went airborne moments before it hit the victim's vehicle in the town of Lanark.

Hanna Schacht, 23, of Amherst formally was charged Monday in Portage County Circuit Court with homicide by drunken driving and causing injury by drunken driving in connection with the Sept.15 crash.
