Packers football camp gets Appleton students active

Students at Janet Berry Elementary School channeled their inner Green Bay Packers Tuesday as they ran drills as part the green-and-gold's Youth Football Outreach Camp.

For the second-, third- and fourth-graders, the hour got them outside on a beautiful fall day, running drills with their friends. They high-stepped over obstacles, knocked down dummies, leaped onto mats and passed footballs to their classmates.

Members of the Appleton East High School football team supervised the five stations, cheering them on as the kids got the hang of things. ...
