Police arrest man entering vehicles

Police on Monday night arrested an allegedly intoxicated 25-year-old Manitowoc man suspected of entering vehicles because he needed cigarette money, said Capt. Nick Reimer of the Manitowoc Police Department in a news release.

According to Reimer:

A neighbor in the 2200 block of Russell Lane notified the department at about 11:30 p.m. that an individual was entering vehicles in the neighborhood. The witness was able to give a description of the suspect and a last-known direction of travel. ...
