Carlsville is painting the town pink Oct. 5 to help against the battle of cancer with the first-ever Pink Pumpkins for Cancer and Carlsville Goes Pink event.
From pink pumpkins, cupcakes and dog treats to Sweet Survivor wine, Carlsville businesses are preparing to raise funds and awareness to battle what Roxanne Schopf, owner of Schopf's Hilltop Dairy and Dairy View Country Store, refers to as "the big one" that has touched too many people so close to home.
