Ridges gets matching challenge gift in capital campaign

The Ridges Sanctuary in Baileys Harbor received an anonymous offer Sept. 10 of a matching challenge gift to help complete its capital campaign for its new Cook-Albert Fuller Interpretive Center.

The donors, longtime supporters of The Ridges, will match dollar-for-dollar all donations and pledges up to $350,000 received through the end of the year. It is the largest matching gift in the sanctuary's history and presents an opportunity for members and donors to double their gifts and make twice the impact - a $50 donation means the campaign receives $100, for example.
