New signs tout OHS team successes

New signs at Oconto's entrances are showing the community's pride in Oconto High School's first state championship, and the three other teams that made it to state.

The signs were paid for by the Oconto Area Chamber of Commerce, and put up a few weeks ago by city crews at entrances to the city on Highway 22, and after exiting Highway 41 from the north and south.

"It's something that cities and schools don't have in the budget lines, and it's the right thing for the chamber to do," said chamber president Ron Hayes. ...
