Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, who injured his hamstring on Sept. 22 against Cincinnati, didn't practice again Wednesday, which doesn't bode well for his chances to play against Detroit on Sunday.

Also not practicing today on Clarke Hinkle Field were running back James Starks (knee), cornerback Casey Hayward (hamstring) and offensive lineman Greg Van Roten.

Meanwhile, tight end Jermichael Finley, fullback John Kuhn and cornerback Jarrett Bush returned to the practice field. Kuhn and Bush missed the Bengals game. Finley sustained a first-quarter concussion in Cincinnati and returned to the practice field for the first time since that injury.

Safety Morgan Burnett and running backs Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin, all of whom practiced on Monday, were on the field again Wednesday.
