The emotions surrounding plans to cut trees along scenic Garrett Bay Road spilled over again Wednesday night, as a Door County sheriff's deputy escorted two to three dozen people out of the Liberty Grove Town Board meeting room for refusing to sit down.

Town Chairman John Lowry abruptly adjourned the board's previous meeting Sept. 18 after an opponent of the tree-cutting project stormed to the podium to protest a project supporter's use of the word "b--s--" in describing a recent letter to the editor about the issue.
