Troy Hojnacki said he hopes a new event will connect his business with alumni returning for homecoming weekend at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Hojnacki, owner of Graffiti's Sports Pub in downtown Stevens Point, will host a homecoming kickoff bash at his bar tonight. The highlight of the event will be a free concert by local country band Raised Reckless, which he hopes will begin a tradition that makes his bar a destination for grads returning to town.

"We do get the usual crowd who comes in on Saturday after the (UWSP) homecoming football game, but we really haven't done anything ...
