A state lawmaker who has seen the devastation of heroin addiction in his daughter's battle with the drug on Friday laid out legislation he says will help fight abuse and addiction in Wisconsin.

Rep. John Nygren, R-Marinette, unveiled four bills that include measures that require people picking up narcotic prescriptions at pharmacies to show identification and limited immunity for people who call 911 to report an overdose.
