Manitowoc man sentenced in sixth OWI

A 49-year-old Manitowoc man was sentenced to probation and jail for his sixth-offense operating while intoxicated.

Manitowoc County Circuit Judge Jerome Fox on Sept. 3 stayed a one-year prison sentence followed by three years of extended supervision for Scott A. Novy, 864 S. Rapids Road.

Fox placed Novy on probation for three years with the condition he spend one year in jail, with work-release privileges, starting immediately. Novy also was ordered to pay $3,540 in fines and costs. ...
