Letter: Job facts support Walker administration

3:12 PM, Oct. 3, 2013  |  Comments

I have some information to refute Kim Everett's whining about Walker administration policies. Wisconsin has been ranked first in the nation in a six-month economic growth outlook. The first two years of private sector job growth under Walker were the best two years for over a decade.

In light of the economic polices of the Obama administration, over-restrictive regulations and the incredible job- and income-destroying Obamacare, I think the Governor has done a great job! Incomes have increased 23 percent in the DC area, while in the rest of the county they have decreased over 6 percent from 2009 to 2012. For sure they are looking out for the government employees!

Lets get real - we are fighting an uphill battle against the behemoth government in DC. In August 2013, Wisconsin ranked 19th in lowest unemployment rates out of 50 states with an unemployment rate of 6.7 percent, well below the national average. I know, those pesky facts just get in the way, but folks, it is what it is.
