Senior Mark Sebree burst through the line, bounced outside and ran untouched into the end zone to give the Stevens Point Area Senior High football team a spark it would feed off for the rest of the game.

Three other SPASH players put points on the scoreboard as the Panthers shutout Wisconsin Rapids 23-0 Friday night during Valley Football Association action at South Wood County Field.

The win was the second straight for the Panthers, who keep the Ol' River Jug in their trophy case for another year. At 2-3 in the VFA South, SPASH has to win out to have a chance to be playoff eligible, while Rapids fell ...
