Church offers animal blessing service

Intercession Episcopal, 1417 Church St., will celebrate a Blessing of the Animals in memory of St. Francis at 4 p.m. Sunday. The service will last 20 to 30 minutes, and all animals will receive a blessing.

Pets should be attached to a leash or in a carrier.
