The eighth annual Pedal for a Cure, a bicycle run to support multiple sclerosis research, will be held Oct. 13 starting at The Bar, 1396 Highway C. Registration will be held from 10 a.m. to noon. The ride leaves at noon and free food will be provided after the run for all riders. Participants can bring a dish to pass.

The cost is $10 per rider. Stops include Saddle Up Saloon, Club 10 and DeWendy's Pub. Half of the proceeds go to Marshfield Clinic for multiple sclerosis research, and the other half goes to the individual with the best poker hand.

The event will include a 50/50 drawing, door prizes and raffles. Advance raffle tickets are available at The Bar. For more information, call 715-344-5475.
