Two of the top-ranked defenses in the Valley Football Association North Division went head-to-head on Friday, and Kimberly demonstrated why it is leading the way this season.

Bret Verstegen returned an interception 27 yards for a touchdown 90 seconds into the game, one of four turnovers the Papermakers forced in a 35-7 win over host Wausau West at Thom Field.
